My parents recently received a mission call to Independence, Missouri. This was the same mission my oldest brother served in almost 30 years ago. They got their call in the mail and quickly drove to my house. They got one brother on the speaker phone in the car and read it to both of us at the same time. They then called the other brothers and did the same thing. We are very excited for them and know they will do a great job and have awesome experiences!
For the 2nd year in a row, Noah and his friend Alex, put on a neighborhood basketball camp. It was 3 days of skills & drilling. The boys usually have a great time and earn a little bit of money for summer fun or Fall football.
Mike and I recently celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary. I can't believe how the time has flown by. We took a short trip to Las Vegas. We spent 2 days shopping, eating (PF Chang for dinner, cheesecake at the Cheesecake Factory--YUM), relaxing by the pool, and going to a movie. When we got back Maddie and her friend had made this sign and posted it in our bedroom next to this picture we had taken back in high school when we were dating. We were so young then....and now we look so old:)
