Happy Birthday Nana!

My mom turned 30 again yesterday! She & my dad are on a mission in Kansas so we weren't able to spend the day with her. We did skype with them and the whole family sang happy birthday. It is hard to be away from her and we miss her so much. She is such a great example to me and our whole family. I am so thankful for all that she has done for me and taught me. I am so lucky to have her be such a big part of my life! It will be great to have her home later this year. I love you mom!

Christmas 2011

Traditional Christmas sugar cookies. This year I got everyone to help me frost them.

Maddie & I made a gingerbread house. Oh, I am not so good at those, but it sure was fun to make one with my Maddie.

The traditional Christmas Eve pj's. Gotta love those! Hey, who is that grandpa looking guy in there?:)

We had everyone in our family here. That doesn't happen very often any more with the kids growing up.

Christmas morning. My kids will not be happy to see this, but oh well. Good times.

Since it doesn't happen very often, I took some family pictures on Christmas afternoon. Here are a few of them. They turned out ok, but I didn't have the right settings on. I used the timer for the first time and the focus was for the closest subject so some people are a little blurry and one had too much direct sunlight. I am still learning.

I love this one of Kenzie and Gage. They have so much fun together and tease the heck out of each other.

Happy New Year 2012!
