This year for spring break we went to southern California with some good friends, the Forbes family. We stayed in Oceanside right on the beach. We were able to go from LA to San Diego during the vacation. We did a lot of driving, but it was well worth it. We were able to experience culture as we saw Wicked in LA, history in Old Town San Diego, and the older kids and dad's were able to attend the San Diego Temple. We can't forget visiting the sea lions at the beach and riding crazy wild rides at Knottsberry Farm and Magic Mountain. Oh, and Mike was in heaven as we attended a LA Kings hockey game....brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....we froze there, but it was a lot of fun! Maddie had a funny experience with a guy who yelled out that Justin Bieber was "gay".....she yelled back that "gay means happy". It was hilarious! One of Noah's fun memories was watching a guy catch a stingray off the pier. The kids also played in the ocean, dug in the sand, and looked for seashells. We all had an awesome time!

Cute pictures! Funny that we were at the same things just on opposite days.
We were practically following each other! I think half of Utah was in Cali last week:) Glad yu had a great trip.
