Saturday Mike and Keaton built 6 garden boxes and mixed special dirt to fill them. Mike is determined to learn to be self sufficient and grow his own food, or at least have fun learning to do it. Tonight Noah and Kenzie helped him plant the first seeds of peas and radishes. Our friends, the Searle's, built the same boxes last year and they had a great garden. We hope to do the same this year.

Garden Spot

You did a lot of blogging today! I hope the garden works out for you. I love to feel self reliant. Unfortunately, I start all gung-ho and then I fizzle out by mid summer. It is so much work! Is that the soil that is supposed to keep the weeds out?
